Meet the MEDVACON Leadership Team

José (Joe) Toscano - President

José (Joe) Toscano is President of Medvacon Enterprises, Inc. and leads the company as well as its subsidiaries, Medvacon Life Sciences, LLC and Medvacon Talent Acquisition, LLC.  

 

José has over 30 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience in starting new companies, business units, divisions, corporate reorganizations, merger integrations, training and development, as well as successfully launching over 25 new products and indications in the Pharmaceutical and Life Science industry working as an executive for Johnson and Johnson and Abbott Laboratories. José has a consistent ability to adapt to highly diverse business challenges, effect organizational and cultural change, provides strong leadership, create and implement strategies that foster team and company growth.

 

José is also a Managing Member of Tera Nova Compliance, LLC and Philmar Sparta, LLC.  He also volunteers his time to over a dozen boards and associations and he currently serves on the Economic Development Committee and is on the Planning Board of his home town.


José holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both marketing and management as well as an Masters of Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing, from Montclair State University. 

Raymond Roggero - Chief Operating/Financial Officer

Mr. Roggero is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Medvacon Enterprises, Inc and a Managing Member of Tera Nova Compliance, LLC and Philmar Sparta, LLC.  Ray has extensive leadership and operations experience overseeing consulting regulatory compliance/engineering services and commercial services within the life sciences industry, including as COO of QPharma and President/COO and Cofounder of Integrated Pharma Technologies.  Previously he was a validation manager at a Pfizer legacy company.  Ray earned his B.E. in mechanical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology as well as an M.B.A with a concentration in finance from Iona College, Hagan School of Business. 

Ray is a Graduate Fellow of Leadership Morris and serves on the External Advisory Board of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Engineering (PME) Graduate Program at Stevens Institute of Technology.  Ray also serves on the Board of Directors for the NJ Chapter of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) and is a member of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA). 

Cris Maroney - Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition

Leading the MEDVACON Talent Acquisition business is Senior Talent Acquisition Director, Cris Maroney. With an exceptional ability to deliver tactical and strategic hiring initiatives for consulting, contract, and direct hire roles Cris has her finger on the pulse of clients’ needs for drug, device, and biotech organizations.

 

Cris possesses solid experience in cGMP quality, compliance, validation, regulatory, manufacturing, injectables, OSD, pharmacovigilance, drug safety, monitoring, clinical, global IT, HR, and all operations positions in the greater

NJ/NY/PA/MA/VA/DC capital region, west coast, and EU markets.  Cris is known for her superior relationship building ability and her integrity as a trusted HR business partner.

Michael Dos Santos - Sr. Director of Business Development

Mr. Dos Santos came to Medvacon with over 20 years’ experience in account management, marketing, business development, research, and operations in the advertising, healthcare/pharmaceutical, and security consulting sectors.  He liaises directly with heads of operations, HR, legal, finance, risk management, compliance, and security/safety and works closely with procurement/sourcing as the primary project manager.  

Michael previously served as Director of Business Development for CP Life Sciences, responsible for sales and marketing oversight, business development, and operations for compliance, risk, quality, and regulatory service offerings.  Additionally, he was integral to the expansion of CP’s engineering, architectural, and environmental competencies.  Michael also served as Director of Global Sales for Pinkerton, the nation’s oldest and largest investigative and security consulting services firm.  He earned his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University.
